Reunion w/ dad

After being apart for a few weeks Ilsa & Sappy were content to just hang out w/ dad in Grandma & Grandpa Paulson's fifth wheel trailer in Billings. 

Montana Women's Run 2009

We travelled to Billings to meet up w/ Keri for the Montana Women's Run & our maiden voyage in the hand-me down jogging stroller.  We also got to visit w/ the Falks after the race.  It was incredible to be able to run outdoors again - Ilsa loved the stroller almost as much as I enjoyed pushing it.   

Grandma Maus' Birthday

 

Just a few photos from Grandma Maus' Birthday Party.  Ilsa, Sap & I rode the Razor over for the BBQ where we played horseshoes & hung out w/ her cousins.  Her cousin James was there too of course but left for a nap before heading to his other grandparents for the evening.

Great Expectations

I get this look a lot...since Eric has been gone guiding on the Big Horn again for the Spring season, I have found that my entourage has come to expect my entertainment alone which, believe me, entertaining these two can be a big task.  We are really looking forward to Eric coming home to add to the entertainment.  

Getting Mobile

Please don't hold me accountable for my dull commentary in the video.  Ilsa has been rolling over for over a month now, but is finally rolling multiple times in a row and actually going places to grab at things that she wants to play with.

Four Month Check-up

Ilsa had her four month check-up today.  She weighed in @ 12 lbs. 10 ozs and measured 24.75 inches - 27% on average for her weight and 52% for her height.  You'll notice that after her shots the nurse gave her some special camo band-aids to show dad.

Easter

 

We spent the day over @ Grandma & Grandpa Maus'.  Ilsa got a chance to play w/ her cousins and just loved all of the attention that Tyler & Tiffany gave her.  They read to her, kept her shoes on and just gave her kisses and a lot of love.  It was right up her alley.  Hope that everyone had a great Easter & were able to spend it w/ family.  

Another successful "Daddy Tuesday"

Eric & Ilsa took a trip to the river just to enjoy the sunshine & have a look around. A couple of days prior, the two of them took a daddy-daughter shopping trip and bought Ilsa's high fashion shades - not sure which one of them picked them out, but they happen to be fashionable, functional....& on upside down.

BIG NEWS in our house today!!!  Ilsa rolled over for the 1st time.  The big question is did we get to witness it?   Of course not - she is really sneaky.  :)  Its one of her many talents - we are thinking that she might be a genius along w/ everyone else's children.

As if the "Big Girl" swing were not enough...Ilsa has added her soft bunny friend for entertainment. She has become really good friends w/ the bunny & they go most places together b/c she likes to snuggle w/ his soft little ears.

Grandpa Maus found this swing for Ilsa on one of his pawn shop ventures. We call it her "Big Girl" swing because she gets to sit upright in it & sitting like a big girl/grown up has recently become one of her favorite pass times.
